About DIC Ideal Private Limited

Effective from January 2025, Ideal Chemi Plast Private Limited has changed its name to DIC Ideal Private Limited.

Ideal Chemi Plast Pvt. Ltd. (ICPPL), one of the excellent coating resin manufacturers in India, became a partner of the DIC Group in 2019.

Since its establishment in 2004, ICPPL has earned the trust of customers both in India and abroad by proposing products and paint formulations that meet the needs of the coating resins in India, including acrylic resin (Idecryl : Ideal chemi acrylic brand), alkyd resin (Idekyd : Ideal chemi alkyd brand), polyester resin (Idester : Ideal chemi polyester brand) and others used in automotive repair, coil coating, decorative, etc., through its experienced members, as well as strengthening its technical support and proposing optimal solutions to various issues.

In February 2024, ICPPL opened a new factory in Supa Industrial Park, Maharashtra, and began full-scale operations. This will approximately triple the production capacity of coating resins, combined with the current Badlapur plant, and we aim to further expand our coating resins business in South Asia, including India, and the Middle East.

Ideal Chemi Plast joined DIC Group！！

In 2019, DIC acquired Ideal Chemi plast Pvt. Ltd., a coating resin manufacturer based in Bablapur, to further expand business in the South Asian market with high growth potential. Ideal focuses on the development of resin products for industrial coatings such as automotive refinishing, coil coatings, etc. With its broad knowledge of the Indian paint market and superior technology to offer products that meet performance requirements at reasonable prices, Ideal has earned the high confidence of not only India but also of overseas customers. Also in 2019, DIC established DIC South Asia Private Limited (DSA) in Mumbai, which has been a sales base in South Asia for resins and compound products developed by DIC Group companies. With the addition of many DIC products to Ideal's lineup, the company is proposing solutions to various issues in the South Asian paint market, including India.
