Tokyo, Japan—DIC Corporation announced today that it has been selected for the eighth year in a row for inclusion in the FTSE4Good Index Series, a globally recognized environmental, social and governance (ESG) investment index of companies demonstrating outstanding ESG practices. The Company has also once again been named a constituent of the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index and the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, two indices for Japanese equities used by Japan’s Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF)—one of the world’s largest pension funds—as benchmarks for its ESG investment strategy. With constituent selection based on ESG evaluations conducted by FTSE Russell, these indices are used to guide the creation and rating of sustainable investment funds and other financial products.

DIC has earned inclusion in all six ESG investment indices for Japanese equities used by the GPIF.

Each of these indices evaluates companies from different ESG perspectives. DIC’s selection for all six reflects the high marks given its multifaceted ESG initiatives.
