DIC Announces Sales Price Revisions for DIC.PPS Products

Tokyo, Japan—DIC Corporation today announced that has resolved to revise its sales prices for DIC.PPS polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) products. The new sales prices will apply to products shipped on or after December 15, 2022.

Owing to further increases in prices for raw materials and secondary materials, as well as in logistics costs and various surcharges, production costs for DIC.PPS products have soared. While DIC has done as much as possible to respond though rationalization, it recognizes that the situation has gone beyond the point where independent efforts alone are sufficient. Accordingly, to ensure both stable supplies and consistently high product quality going forward, the Company has had to make the decision to raise sales prices for these products, as indicated below.

Price Revision:　 PPS compounds (reinforced grade)　　　+US$0.62/kg
　　　　　　　　PPS compounds (unreinforced grade)　　+US$0.90/kg
　　　　　　　　PPS neat polymers　　　　　　　　　　+US$0.90/kg
