DIC Announces Sales Price Revisions for DIC.PPS Products

Tokyo, Japan—DIC Corporation has resolved to revise its sales prices for DIC.PPS polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) products. Higher sales prices will apply to products shipped on or after April 25, 2022.

Owing to further increases in prices for raw materials, fuel and secondary materials, as well as in logistics costs and various surcharges, production costs for DIC.PPS products continue to escalate. While DIC has responded though rationalization, it recognizes that the situation has gone beyond the point where independent efforts alone are sufficient. Accordingly, to ensure both stable supplies and consistently high product quality going forward, the Company has had to make the decision to raise sales prices for these products, as indicated below.
