Tokyo, Japan—DIC today announced that it is exhibiting a variety of products, including DIC Spirulina and LINABLUE® Spirulina-derived natural blue food colorant, at the 7th Conference of the International Society for Applied Phycology (ISAP 2021) , which will be held virtually from May 14 – August 13, 2021.
The International Society for Applied Phycology, founded in 1999, is the preeminent global organization promoting applied phycology. In addition to organizing presentations on cutting-edge research and encouraging the sharing of technical knowledge, the society stages a triennial conference, which to date has been held in various locations around the world. ISAP 2021 is the first conference to be held in Japan. In addition to scientific researchers from universities and research institutes, these conferences are also attended by representatives of private-sector companies with algae-related businesses and feature various presentations and opportunities for exchanging technical information on industrial applications for algae.
