Exhibited at PLASTINDIA2018, one of the world's largest plastics exhibitions

DIC Corporation announced that it will participate in PLASTINDIA 2018, which is expected to be the largest global plastics industry exhibition, and will take place from February 7–12, 2018, in the northwestern city of Gandhinagar with DIC India Ltd., DIC Compounds (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., PT DIC ASTRA Chemicals which operates compound businesses mainly in Southeast Asia and South Asia.

The Indian automotive market is expected to sell 7 million electric vehicles (EV) and hybrid vehicles (HV) annually by 2020, partly because of the Indian government's efforts to address environmental problems caused by worsening air pollution. PLASTINDIA —which was inaugurated in 1990 and held once every three years—has attracted attention as one of the largest plastic-related exhibitions in the world in light of growing markets and growing demand.

The theme of the DIC Group’s PLASTINDIA 2015 booth, we propose polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), which is widely used in automotive parts due to its heat resistance and chemical resistance, to the xEV (EV/HV/PHV) and introduce plastics colorants for general automotive applications.

The DIC Group regards India as one of its medium-and long-term growth strategic regions, and will aggressively promote marketing and market development in order to accelerate its expansion into the Indian market.
