Water-based resin for inkjet ink binder

Functional Products

Water-based resin for inkjet ink binder Water-based resin for inkjet ink binder

DIC’s waterborne resins are increasingly being adopted as binders for industrial inkjet inks, a printing technology attracting attention for its suitability for small-lot production.

Through proprietary product design, DIC has achieved the wide range of performance properties required of binders for this application.
These products contribute particularly to the textile and paper sectors, where the transition to on-demand printing is being accelerated from
an environmental perspective.

●Formulation compatibility: Low formulation viscosity enables excellent jetting performance.
Filterability: Excellent filterability helps reduce nozzle clogging.
●Water resistance: Excellent water resistance helps reduce abrasion of printed images caused by washing. (Applicable product: HYDRAN CIJ-100)
●High durability: Provides excellent durability while maintaining elongation and flexibility. (Applicable product: HYDRAN CIJ-100)
Penetration: Excellent penetration provides strong adhesion, particularly to paper substrates. Depending on the type of paper, the ink-receptive layer may be reduced.(Applicable product: VONCOAT EC-740EF)
