Established in 1908, DIC has capitalized on its capabilities in the area of printing inks, as well as in the principal raw materials used in these products, namely, organic pigments and synthetic resins, while at the same time cultivating related core technologies to the highest global standards. We have also leveraged these technologies to build a broad portfolio ranging from materials to processed products that centers on three core segments: Packaging & Graphic, Color & Display, and Functional Products. This has enabled us to respond to societal needs by providing customers in the automotive, electronics, food packaging, housing and other industries with solutions that bring “color” and “comfort” to people’s lives.
Guided by our current long-term management plan, DIC Vision 2030, we are currently working to contribute to a society that is increasingly green, digital and quality of life (QOL)–oriented, developing a diverse technological foundation that includes inorganic material and biomaterial design, which we are combining to create new businesses that exceed the boundaries of chemistry, as well as to develop truly innovative products.
Looking ahead, as the core of the DIC Group—a multinational organization with operations in more than 60 countries and territories worldwide—we at DIC will redouble our efforts to amplify the value we provide by contributing to global environmental preservation and the realization of a safe, sustainable and prosperous society, while at the same building our own corporate value. Your ongoing support of our efforts in line with this basic policy is greatly appreciated.
Expect great things from us in the years ahead!
