HYDRECT coatings are manufactured in Japan to meet the high-quality direct food contact regulation requirements. These interior coatings are created for direct food contact, and help your food stay fresh. These specialty coatings are aqueous-based direct food contact overprint varnishes intended for application in natural fiber paper and carton board packaging. Application is either printing inks transfer of Flexography or Gravure printing or paper mill coating (rod, air blade).

In product consultation on the correct product selection, these coatings impart water resistance and oil resistance to paper and boards, removing the need entirely for the final product to contain any plastic. These coatings also contribute to the development of sustainable packaging’s such as recycling and compost packaging. The functional coatings lineup includes products that can give excellent heat seal properties to paper for the use of packaging of molding and pillow packaging construction.
