About G58 Series Green Pigments for Color Filters

Its high brightness allows it to produce the required image quality even under low-backlight conditions, making it a popular choice for energy-efficient TVs. Within the G58 series, the new top-grade FASTOGEN GREEN A410 has been developed alongside the high-brightness FASTOGEN GREEN A350, offering even higher brightness and exceptional contrast.
Key Features of the G58 Series

Higher brightness achieved by adopting zinc instead of copper
Compared with the conventional green pigment G36, the G58 series replaces the central metal in the pigment’s chemical structure from copper to zinc. This change delivers more than a 10% increase in brightness.

Significantly improved contrast through finer pigment particles
For liquid crystal panels, contrast improves as the pigment particle size becomes finer. Although G58 is inherently more difficult to micronize than G36, DIC’s proprietary micronization technology has established a production method with particle sizes of 50 nm or smaller, achieving industry-leading contrast performance.
