How to use DICDRY
DIC’s adhesive portfolio is structured by retort temperature resistance to support a wide variety of food packaging applications. What is GLYMO-free
What is GLYMO-free adhesive?
GLYMO-free adhesives are laminating adhesives designed without using GLYMO (3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane)—a silane-based adhesion promoter that can generate glycidol, a substance classified as potentially harmful and subject to strict global regulations.
By removing GLYMO from the formulation, these adhesives help manufacturers:
- Avoid substances of concern linked to glycidol
- Meet stricter food-contact and packaging safety regulations
- Reduce potential migration risks
- Strengthen consumer safety and brand trust
