This innovative laminating system has overcome the weaknesses of conventional solvent-free laminates. Separate adhesive coating made it possible.

DUALAM™, a fast-curing non-solvent adhesive that we developed. The two adhesive components are applied separately to each layer, and they are mixed as the layers are aligned and pressed together.
It has the following advantages over conventional non-solvent adhesives:
- Compatible with a wide variety of film layer compositions
- Fast curing, and greatly decreased aging time
- Improved design characteristics after lamination
- Increases adhesive usage time (pot life), to improve workability
- Can be used for continuous processing laminate compositions with three or more layers

The popularization of DUALAM?, which overcomes the weaknesses of conventional non-solvent lamination, will decrease global VOC generation and CO2 emissions.
