Signals DIC Corporation

From technology to human, source to senses,
Signals travel towards the receiver. Gliding past noise,
they turn, split, flow smoothly through pathways and become sound, light, or motion.
What do you hear? See? Feel?
Connecting to your senses, Signals become meaning.

Forms with integrated sensing – More freedom. More flexibility.

MoR™ is a unique technology developed by DIC that leverages MID (Molded Interconnect Device) capabilities to integrate circuit patterns into any molded form and enables it to function as a sensor. With the ability to detect a range of signals – including weight, temperature, strain, and conductivity – MoR™ forms are able to manipulate objects in response to these signals.
No longer limited by form, this sensing technology offers flexibility for diverse applications previously not possible.

Omnidirectional multicopter: high-powered, rugged performance in extreme environments

The HAGAMOSphere® 2.0 has been updated with more adaptability while retaining its spherical, 8-propeller design. With a tiltrotor mechanism that enables flexible adjustment of propeller angles, it achieves optimal flight performance under severe conditions. Housed in an outer casing of high-strength carbon fiber, the HAGAMOSphere®2.0 is highly resistant to impacts from any direction. This strength supports both aerial movement and self-propelled rolling on ground surfaces. This drone is exceptionally suited for high-load situations such as infrastructure inspection, disaster response, weather observation, and industrial support.

HAGAMOSphere

HAGAMOSphere has won the CES 2025 Innovation Award.

Tactile sensitivity enhancer – ultra-fine texture detection, no power required

Tacthancer™ is a sensing technology that enhances the ability of its user to detect surface flaws that cannot be felt by human touch alone. Working without the need for a power source, Tacthancer™ can be integrated into a finger cot or glove to amplify human tactile sensation. But it is also flexible enough to be combined with sensors or connected devices to enable recording of sensing data, even on objects previously difficult or impossible to sense. With limitless possibilities for integration, Tacthancer™ opens a new world for sensing applications.

These products are currently under development, any final designs and specifications may be changed prior to commercial production or manufacture without any notice.
