Hollow Fiber Membrane Degassing/Aeration Modules

By using DIC's proprietary hollow fiber membrane possessing a skin layer, SEPAREL hollow fiber membrane degassing/aeration modules can also degas and aerate liquids containing surfactants. The production of clarified water (water vapor) is reduced by possessing the skin layer when degassing and aerating water as well. Compactness and low pressure loss have also been achieved by the unique internal structure.

Features

An optimal hollow fiber membrane structure for degassing and aeration

Leaking and the production of large amounts of clarified water is prevented by using hollow fibers possessing a skin layer. The skin layer is also approximately 1 micron thick and combines high gas permeability.

Achieves dissolved gas concentration ppb level degassing

Degassing at the ppb level is possible by DIC's proprietary hollow fiber membrane and the internal structure of the module.

Capable of inline treatment

High efficiency degassing is achieved by using a hollow fiber membrane. This makes inline treatment possible and helps to shorten treatment time.

Realizes space savings

Low pressure loss and space savings are realized by DIC's proprietary internal structure. Modules can be used in a broad range of applications.

Degassing/Aeration Modules for Water

Degassing (ultra degassing) has been made possible down to the ppb level by DIC's proprietary hollow fiber membrane. Also suited to gas dissolution (aeration).

Removing oxygen and carbon dioxide from ultra-pure water/removing oxygen from boiler supply water/manufacturing functional water for cleaning (dissolving CO2 gas, H2 gas, N2 gas, O2 gas)

Surfactant-compatible Degassing Modules

Degassing of liquids that contain surfactants been made possible by the proprietary hollow fiber membrane (SS membrane) possessing a skin layer on the surface.

Degassing Modules for Chemicals/Solvents

Degassing modules with wetted parts made entirely from fluororesins and employs PTFE in the degassing membrane. Also capable of degassing acids, alkalis, and organic solvents from liquids.
