Urethane/Rubber Plasticizers

Monocizer PB-3A excels in compatibility as a plasticizer for polyurethane such as TPU, and it can even be used in two-part liquid urethane rolls for cast molding.
Monocizer W-160, W-262, and W-320 compatibilize with polar rubbers (NBR, acrylic rubber, hydrin rubbers, others) and has an excellent balance of heat resistance, cold resistance, and oil resistance.

Effective in Plasticizing Polyurethane (TPU)

Monocizer PB-3A and PB-10 are benzoate plasticizers with high polarity and that demonstration excellent compatibility with either type of TPU (polyether-based, polyester-based).

  • PB-3A is effective in plasticizing polyurethane
  • Improves elongation, tensile strength, hardness

Effective in Plasticizing Polar Rubbers (NBR, Acrylic Rubber, Etc.) & Improving Heat/Cold Resistance

Monocizer W-260 is a low viscosity etherester plasticizer, W-262 is a polyetherester plasticizer, and Polycizer W-320 is a low viscosity polyester plasticizer. All excel in workability, cold resistance, and plasticization efficiency, and possess superior capabilities compared to phthalate ester DEHP (DOP).

  • Contributes to the demand for improvements in heat and cold resistance in rubbers including those in the automotive field

Major Applications

  • Urethane rubber, plastic snow chains, rolls
  • Automobile engine hoses, gaskets, blankets for printing

Properties List

The table below lists the properties when DIC's W-260, W-262, W-320 are added to NBR (medium/high nitrile), a polar rubber.
W-260, W-262, W-320 have superior low temperature flexibility and non-volatility compared to DEHP (DOP), a phthalate ester.
