- AF
- : Peeling at the surface between the adhesive layer and subject
- Tape production conditions
- : Core backing: Rayon NWF (14 g/m2), Coating amount: single-side 60 g/m2, Curing: 40°C x 2 days
- Peel strength
- : 180° Peel strength, width 20 mm
- Retention
- : Applied surface area 20 mm x 20 mm, Load: 1 kg, Temperature: 70°C
- Constant load
- : Applied surface area 10 mm x 50 mm, applied with 2 kg roller run over back/forth twice, 40°C x 1 hour, 300 g load applied in the 90° direction, measured the peeled distance after 3 hours
- Curved application
- : Applied double-coated tape and a foam sheet, cut a specimen to 40 x 40 mm, wrapped that around a 2 mm thick base material. Measured the peeled distance on the end of the specimen after 24 hours at both 23°C and 80°C. Curved application 1 is ether-based PU foam (6 mm thick, 0.02 g/cm3 density). Curved application 2 is ester-based PU foam (6 mm thick, 0.03 g/cm3 density)
- Ball tack
- : J. Dow method (23°C, 50% RH)
