DIC Announces Changes to Trade Name for Certain Resins

—New names will help accelerate our global branding strategy on its polymers business —

DIC today announced plans to change the trade names of certain alkyd resins used in coatings, among others, and certain amino resins employed as hardeners, in line with our polymers business’ global branding strategy. These changes will go into effect on January 5, 2017. Details of the changes are shown below. 

1.Alkyd resin trade name to change

2.Amino resin trade name to change

Current Trade Name

New Trade Name

 3. Start date for the use of the new name: January 5, 2017

 4. Matters concerning the name change:
     ・This name change will not result in any changes to our manufacturing sites or equipment, quality standards, containers, or container sizes.
   ・While we intend to change our product labels and catalogs to reflect the new names, some documents and materials may retain the old trademarks. We appreciate your understanding in advance.
